completed my first proper shopfront job last week!
painted for Wildebeest - a brand new vegan cafe/bar on the high street which opened this week - it all looks gorgeous, and if the rest of their menu tastes as good as the cheeky brownie i’ve sampled then i expect great things for them here in Falmouth!!

VALERIA / JANE ~ painted in memory of my two grandmothers, still two very important ladies in my life.
i’m contributing this piece into what will be a FABULOUS exhibition:
”W u n d er k a m m e r” - which literally translates as ‘Wonder Cabinet’ - a show made up of entirely of a range work by third year illustrators. it will showcase a whole range bizarre and curious treats for the eyes, on for one week only at Untitled Gallery & Bar in Falmouth, opening on Monday evening. very exciting!
my final artwork for Illustrated Quotes and Sayings no. 9 - a book produced each year by the illustration course at Falmouth that features each and every one of us third years. i can safely say that this years’ book is gonna be an absolute corker!
I chose to render mine in screenprint… 6 hours printing, 5 colours, 4 screens, 3 weeks of planning, for 2 thursday evening sessions, with the help of 1 babely screen print technician!
my artwork for the latest B-Side Club mixtape, theme: “CRUISIN’”
ended up having a lot of fun with this, using drawing inks and the lightbox.. one to remember.
i chose to illustrate the song Steal My Sunshine by Len, i strongly reccomend you click here and watch the music video, ultimate 90’s summer vibez!
painted for Lee at The Fish Factory, a gallery and artists studios down at Falmouth Wharves. my first commission using some one shot paints glorious! A2 in size, sorry for the poor photo
just so y’all know, i’ve swapped the URL’s of my inspiration and illustration blogs, because now i’m going to graduate soon and so have to be professional and consistent with my naming of things…
NANASUNNY is my inspiration/scrapbook blog, a vault full of lots of beautiful imagery created by and belonging to other people
HANASUNNY is my artwork blog, all my own images - illustration, sign painting, typography, sketchbooking etcetera!
go on, have a gander. cheers!
for the lack of productivity recently, it’s been a bonkers few weeks of dissertation writing/celebrating, project writing and lots and lots of thinking and organising things in my head and on paper…
stuff is gonna get fun again in the next few weeks though kids, got some screen-printing and fresh new signage in the pipeline, so stay tuned!
